- Beef stew meat: 2 pounds
- Carrots, peeled and chopped: 3 cups

Instructions
- Step 1: Place the beef stew meat in the crock pot.
- Step 2: Add the carrots, potatoes, and onion to the crock pot.
- Step 3: In a separate bowl, whisk together the beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and thyme. Pour the mixture over the meat and vegetables.
- Step 4: Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, or until the beef and vegetables are tender.
- Step 5: Stir well before serving.
