Delicious cheesy beef tortellini bake: a family favorite dinner recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 (20 ounce) package frozen cheese tortellini
  • 1 (24 ounce) jar marinara sauce
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Step 2: Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease. Stir in marinara sauce, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer.
  3. Step 3: Add the frozen tortellini to the skillet with the meat sauce mixture. Stir to combine and ensure the tortellini is coated in sauce.
  4. Step 4: Pour the tortellini mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Step 5: Sprinkle evenly with mozzarella cheese and then Parmesan cheese.
  6. Step 6: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the sauce is heated through. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For easier cleanup, spray your measuring cup with cooking spray before adding the milk, making it slide right out.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat individual portions in the microwave or bake covered in the oven until warmed through.
  • Serve with a side of garlic bread and a fresh green salad for a complete and satisfying meal.
