- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 (20 ounce) package frozen cheese tortellini
- 1 (24 ounce) jar marinara sauce
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Step 2: Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease. Stir in marinara sauce, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer.
- Step 3: Add the frozen tortellini to the skillet with the meat sauce mixture. Stir to combine and ensure the tortellini is coated in sauce.
- Step 4: Pour the tortellini mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Step 5: Sprinkle evenly with mozzarella cheese and then Parmesan cheese.
- Step 6: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the sauce is heated through. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For easier cleanup, spray your measuring cup with cooking spray before adding the milk, making it slide right out.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat individual portions in the microwave or bake covered in the oven until warmed through.
- Serve with a side of garlic bread and a fresh green salad for a complete and satisfying meal.
