Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can (13.9 oz) refrigerated cinnamon roll dough
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup strawberry jam
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh strawberries
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking pan.
- Step 2: In a medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Step 3: Unroll the cinnamon roll dough and spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over each roll. Then, spread strawberry jam over the cream cheese layer and sprinkle with chopped strawberries.
- Step 4: Re-roll the cinnamon rolls tightly and cut each roll into 6-8 slices. Place the slices in the prepared baking pan.
- Step 5: Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Step 6: While the rolls are baking, prepare the glaze by whisking together the milk and powdered sugar in a small bowl. Once the rolls are out of the oven, drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls and serve immediately.
Notes
- Store leftover rolls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days to keep the cream cheese filling fresh.
- Reheat individual rolls in the microwave for 15-20 seconds for a warm, gooey treat.
- Serve these rolls warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra decadent dessert experience.
- For easier slicing, chill the re-rolled dough for 15 minutes before cutting into individual rolls, resulting in cleaner, more uniform shapes.
