Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box (14.35 ounces) graham crackers, finely crushed
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, melted
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 package (12 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 package (12 ounces) butterscotch chips
- 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Step 2: In a large bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan to form a crust.
- Step 3: Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over the graham cracker crust.
- Step 4: Sprinkle chocolate chips and butterscotch chips evenly over the sweetened condensed milk. Sprinkle chopped nuts (if using) evenly over the chips.
- Step 5: Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Step 6: Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Store leftover bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or in the fridge for longer storage.
- A quick zap in the microwave (10-15 seconds) will make the chocolate and butterscotch extra gooey and delicious.
- Cut these irresistible bars into small squares – they're rich and a little goes a long way!
- For a chewier crust, gently press the graham cracker mixture; avoid packing it too tightly.
