Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6 oz each)
- 1/2 cup Italian dressing
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
- Step 2: Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Season both sides of the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dried oregano.
- Step 3: Pour the Italian dressing over the chicken, ensuring that each breast is evenly coated.
- Step 4: Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top of the chicken breasts.
- Step 5: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Step 6: Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
Notes
- Store leftover chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat the chicken in the microwave or oven until warmed through, adding a splash of chicken broth to maintain moisture.
- Serve this juicy chicken alongside roasted vegetables and a side of crusty bread to soak up the flavorful sauce.
- For extra moist chicken, lightly pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness before baking, ensuring they cook evenly.
